Kreepsville Cares

Seeing our local LA community, which we’ve called home since 2011, so hard hit by the pandemic, we knew it was important to give back and so Kreepsville Cares was born! With every sale of a Kreepsville cloth facemask, we donate 13% of the proceeds to a different charity each month.

Remember the onset of COVID-19 when medical face mask manufacturers were scrambling to keep up with the desperate demand for facial coverings? This was the moment when Kreepsville Cares was born.

Staying Safe and Staying Spooky

With the help of our LA-based clothing manufacturer, Kreepsville 666 created a line of comfortable cotton face masks in two scare-wear styles. Our goal was to support our frontline workers by helping to avoid depleting the scarce supply of PPE, while giving horror fans a spooky way to help keep their communities safe. Since then, we’ve expanded the line to include over 30 fang-tastically macabre styles including designs from our exclusive licenses with horror icons Elvira, Mistress of the Dark; Vampira; Vincent Price; and the inimitable cult film creator, John Waters. Not to mention Kreepsville fan favorites including goth skeleton faces, “go away” Ouija social distancing reminders, not-so-silent death’s head hawk moths, classic monsters for vintage film buffs, baphomet styles for our witchy crew, and more.

Causes We Support

Seeing our local LA community, which we’ve called home since 2011, so hard hit by the pandemic, we knew it was important to give back! With every sale of a Kreepsville cloth facemask, we donate 13% of the proceeds to a different charity each month. So far we have supported these causes close to our hearts:

  • California Community Foundation’s (CCF) Wildfire Relief Fund. Since 2003, CCF has granted more than $24 million to support relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of these devastating wildfires.
  • The Marine Corps Toys for Tots. Since 1991, Toys for Tots has been helping to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy.
  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has worked to mobilize resources in the community to alleviate hunger by distributing food and other essentials to children, seniors, families and other individuals in need.

“When the pandemic started, we wanted to offer our customers an option to stay safe without taking the medical masks away from those most in need,” explains Michelle Ghoulmore, founder and driving force behind Kreepsville Cares. “Now that our masks are continuing to sell very well, we are donating a portion of the proceeds to our favorite charities and helping out more people during these unprecedented times.”
